Renin Angiotensin 2

 
 
 
1. Renin is an enzyme that can be found in the blood.
2. The kidneys produce angiotensinogen
3. The lungs produce and secrete aldosterone
4. Angiotensin I will be converted to aldosterone in the presence of ACE.
5. ACE can be found in the blood.
6. Agniotensin II in a vasoconstrictor.
7. Increased levels of Angiotensin II will normally lead to increased blood pressure. .
8. Aldosterone will target the kidneys and cause in increase in sodium reabsorption.
9. Aldosterone will cause Angiotensin II to be converted to Angiotensin I
10. ACE-inhibitors are drugs that promote reduced blood pressure.
